The Meeting of the Parties (MOP)
The MOP is the decision-making body of ASCOBANS. It meets every three years to review progress made and difficulties encountered in the implementation of the Agreement and to lay down the priorities for the next triennium. Resolutions and reports of the meetings that have taken place to date as well as discussion and information documents of the most recent one can be downloaded from this website. Hardcopies are available on request from the ASCOBANS Secretariat.
The AC meets annually and provides advice and information to the Secretariat and the Parties on the conservation and management of small cetaceans and on other matters related to the running of the Agreement. Meeting documents and reports of the meetings that have taken place to date are available here or on request as hardcopy from the ASCOBANS Secretariat.
