5th Meeting of the Common Dolphin Group

The 5th Meeting of the Steering Group for the ASCOBANS Species Action Plan for the North-East Atlantic Common Dolphin (Common Dolphin Group) will be held from 14 to 15 January 2025, online.

In its meetings, the Common Dolphin Group will review progress under the species action plan, learn about complementary initiatives, and aim to move forward the implementation of conservation actions.

Online registration: Please register via the online form here by 15 December 2024.  Representatives from all Range States of the species in the North-East Atlantic1, irrespective of their status as ASCOBANS Parties or Non-Party Range States, preferably represented by members that are participating in the development and implementation of the national conservation plans for Common Dolphins, may participate in the meeting. In addition, relevant intergovernmental organizations, environmental non-governmental organizations, and sea fisheries organizations working in the NE Atlantic may participate in the meeting. Kindly refer to the Terms of Reference.
