Intergovernmental Framework to Tackling Cetacean Bycatch

This brochure outlines a collaborative framework set up by ASCOBANS and ACCOBAMS Secretariats to combat bycatch. The framework consists of Resolutions providing guidance to member countries on how to address bycatch; action plans and regional groups targeted at helping stakeholders to implement measures to mitigate bycatch in a coordinated fashion; and workshops to facilitate knowledge transfer and to develop guidance.

The brochure accompanied the poster that was presented at the 2^nd World Marine Mammal Conference, 9-12 December 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
